I love giving gifts, it is my absolute favorite part of the holidays, but sometimes buying for the guys can be hard. My boyfriend is the guy who has everything and he also has immaculate taste, which I do love about him, but it can make the holiday season a challenge.
If this is the case for you, or you just would like to do something different, I suggest working around a theme. You could do a sports theme, centered around his favorite team or city etc., a bar theme, a ‘things he loves most’ theme, a travel theme; really anything that relates to any of his hobbies or passions, the possibilities are endless. Here is a list of things I have given my boyfriend in the past and other possible gift ideas for your significant other, Dad, Brother etc.:
A decanter set was on my list this year, but Teddy decided to bring them home for himself, luckily before I bought them! This set is from Crate & Barrel and it is awesome. Whether you just get a couple, this set, or even more; if he’s a drinker, he will love it.
Pair It With/Other Ideas:
Leather Tag Labels. All Options Here
These fun Solo Cup shot glasses from Amazon
Have a beer drinker? Get him this Heineken Mini Keg
Or this AWESOME Gluten Free Beer Making Kit From Williams Sonoma
My boyfriend is big into Watches, Shoes, Sunglasses etc. Watches can be pricey but a wonderful gift that lasts forever. The cool thing about this Michael Kors Stop Hunger watch is that they partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme, and for every watch bought they give 100 meals to children in need.
If your boyfriend likes shoes pay attention to what brands and styles he likes. Get him a cool pair that he would maybe not buy himself, but you know he would love. My boyfriend is partial to Nike and shoes that are different, the cool thing with Nike is that you can customize them through Nike ID
Miansai bracelets are trendy and small enough for guys to pull off. They have sterling silver and 14kt gold options as well as other styles. I recently gifted this to my boyfriend with a note saying- “I’m hooked on you”
If he’s a big baseball fan check out these awesome bottle openers made out of game used bats. Uncommon Goods has a wide range of teams to choose from. When you give it to him return to the site to look up what exact game it was used in. Pretty Cool.
Give the gift of official apparel. The guys want to have what the players have. Look online or go to a local sporting goods store and ask what apparel the players wear for warmups or in the game, so the brand of their sponsor. These Ohio State gloves are pretty awesome.
Then there’s always the option of game tickets. Football season is in a weird timing unless you can afford playoff or championship tickets, but basketball is in session. If you already regularly go to games or want to do something different, search for away game tickets for big games that you can make a trip out of. Stubhub is always our go to place for tickets.
Movie/TV Kit prints are pretty awesome. You can just get them the print or make it even better by getting it framed. Check out the options at Curioos first, if they don’t have an option you want just google Movie Kit Posters and see what you can find!
We love the brand CoolHaus- check out their site to see if their are any ice cream retailers near you. If not check out their other products including this Bacon Infused Salt-Perfect for the Grill Chef.
Check out J. Crew’s leather phone cases. You can even get them monogrammed. Teddy got one from his sister last Christmas and hasn’t changed it since.
Have you seen Sonos yet? They are an awesome wireless speaker system that can be placed throughout your house and is controlled solely through your phone and or tablet. They come in 3 different sizes so you could gift just one, two, all three or even more. Check them out.
