Coachella was an AMAZING time last year. Fashion is such a huge part of the festival scene, and picking out your outfits can be so much fun. The key to your Coachella look: stand out while still maintaining comfort. Your clothing items are important, but your accessory choices are really what makes the outfit. Wear a hat, lots of bracelets, anklets, anything to make it unique to you. Be the free spirit fashionista version of yourself.
I’m not going this year, BUT if I was these would be my outfits….
Classic Black & White with Bold Ombre Orange
The combination of in style cuts (crop top and high waisted), bold colors over a clean palette, the ombre effect of dark orange going into light, & fringe accessories is a sure way to stand out. Pair this outfit with a large black bangle or lots of small gold ones. For hair, wear it down with a braid on one side or in a low pony.
You could wear any item from Free People and rock it at Coachella. Their fashion line was made for the music festival scene and picking out a dress was really hard. I chose this because I am a sucker for white lace. I loved the way they styled it with a body chain and boots, so I stuck to that look. This would be great for messy wavy hair or a big side braid. Take a look at all their dresses..they range from about $50-$1000 so there’s something for everyone!
I am loving jumpsuits at the moment. I stuck to a neutral black and white, which seems to be a theme in my looks, and played pastel colors into the look with all of the accessories. I love pale pink jewelry, it’s pretty and bold. The yellow adds a second element of pastel. Wear it with a messy or sleek bun. This outfit is a lot softer than my other two looks, but still just as chic.
To those of you going to Coachella, have a blast! For the rest of us, we can still dress like we’re festival goers, right?
