Gluten Free Pizza Toast

One of the worst things about being Gluten Free is the lack of pizza. Sure there are quite a few places that carry gluten free crust these days, but I still haven’t found a really good frozen pizza for at home. If I want a good pizza I have to make it from scratch, and that isn’t always ideal.

This is my favorite snack to tackle those pizza cravings, and it’s a lot less calories because you don’t have an entire GF pizza to yourself! (My boyfriend & friends always stick to regular crust.) You can put any toppings you want on your pizza toast but here are my two favorite styles:

Simply Cheese

What You Need:

  • GF Bread ( I use UDI)
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Shredded Cheese (Your favorite kind, I use Italian Blend or Cheddar)

 

IMG_60391. Place bread in toaster and toast on low setting (you don’t want it to be completely toasted)
2. Spread pizza sauce on bread (how much you use is your preference)
3. Sprinkle with Cheese
4.Place in microwave for 20 seconds or until melted

Light & Fresh

What You Need:

  • GF Bread
  • Olive Oil
  • Minced Garlic and/or Garlic (optional)
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Spinach
  • Sliced Tomato

1. Place GF bread in toaster and toast on low setting
2. Spread olive oil on bread
3. Sprinkle with minced garlic (optional)
4. Sprinkle with cheese
5. Place in microwave for 20 seconds or until cheese is melted
6. Top with tomatoes and spinach
