Little White Dress

It’s a standard rule that you should own a little black dress, and you probably have multiple. But I also think you should have a little white one, or two. I absolutely love a good white dress. It’s clean, crisp & stands out in a sea of black. I also love how pairing colored accessories with white, such as pastels, really stands out.

This dress just so happens to be the dress I wore on my birthday at Coachella last year. It’s BCBG, a brand that can seriously do no wrong (It seems to be sold out everywhere online, but if you want to search it’s called the Lalinda Crochet dress.) It’s so pretty in itself that I chose to steer clear of any necklace and paired it with some simple bracelets and rings, as well as some simple booties. When you have a dress that speaks for itself, don’t take away from it with loud accessories or shoes. Now my handbag is definitely a great complement, it’s soft color and cool pattern mixes perfectly. Not only does it look great, it supports an awesome cause. It is by Amani ya Juu; Amani helps women of conflict and poverty in Africa regain stability and enables them to earn a consistent income. They’re products are handmade and absolutely beautiful. Check out their blog here and their Facebook here .
