Blooming in Napa

This is the first of several posts I will do on my recent trip to California with my boyfriend Teddy!

Northern California is such a beautiful and adventurous place. We chose to start our adventure in Napa, somewhere we had never been and were so looking forward to. It’s calmness and beauty exceeded my expectations. We only had one night and a few short hours, but packed in as much as we could.

We chose to fly into San Francisco, taking a scenic and fun drive up the coast to Napa. After entering Napa County we started with a pit stop at an outdoor fruit stand/market. I always love stoping at random local places along the road, you never know what you’ll find. At the Fruit Basket our best finds were some delicious dried pears & yummy perfectly sized jawbreakers(my guilty pleasure).

We then continued on by spending our evening adventuring around The Carneros Inn. Walking around outdoors, taking in the views, sipping on wine, hanging out in an outdoor space, listening to a live James Brown vibe band, & eating a delicious dinner at FARM Restaurant. It was such a relaxing, romantic & fun evening. I highly recommend staying here, just stopping by, or dining at this amazing resort.
